So Which Browser for Me?

If you are a recent arrival on the web you will probably be
using the Internet browser that came pre-installed with your
computer system. That browser is probably Internet Explorer.

Now don't get me wrong here, Internet Explorer is a good
browser, but it is not the only browser for the Internet.
There are numerous browsers that you can download for free
and try out. You do not HAVE to be stuck with IE (Internet
Explorer).

For instance you could try Mosaic, Netscape or Opera to name
but a few. My personal choice is Netscape; it was one of the
first commercially available free and is still extremely
popular.

So why drop IE?
Most users complain that it has simply "taken over" their
system and that they would like the option to choose their
own browser software. The other reason most users state for
changing is that IE is just too large. In the rush to
include as much as possible, Microsoft has compromised it's
browser.

You can install Netscape on your system along with IE, they
can run on the same system, and you can choose which to use
or even use both at the same time.

You should find Netscape an excellent browser, it loads
pages faster than IE, so you can transverse the web faster,
Give it a try. You can download the current version from:
http://www.netscape.com/download/index.html

This is a FREE download and can be used for free
indefinitely. Netscape will certainly not disappoint you.
