Looking for somewhere to camp for an evening on the Lands End to John O' Groats northern route through East Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland?
Every summer for just a few nights we make available a small part of the field next to our home for Lands End to John O' Groats walkers and cyclists.
A very basic camping pitch that's close to wild camping but with a plumbed outdoor toilet hut and mains COLD (only cold) running water. Somewhere safe and secure for the night. Perfect for a quick one night stop on the journey either north or south.
We're approximately 60 miles south of John O' Groats. Positioned on the main A9 route (you have to walk right past us). Around 1.5 miles north of the north Highland village of Brora (KW9) in East Sutherland. Roughly 20 hours walking or 5.5 hours cycling from John O'Groats.
We are a busy working smallholding trying to make a living in the rural Highlands. We grow things; have geese, ducks and chickens so expect the place to be active with animals.

The Dutch Camp - An already set up canvas Dutch Army tent suitable for two people at a squeeze (internal dimensions approx 8'foot long by 3'foot wide). £15 per night.
From 1st May 2021 - Bring and set your own tent only £10
per night per wee tent.

Arrival & Departure
Arrivals: After 4pm only. Latest arrival times before dark or 9.30pm whichever is earlier.
Departure by 9.30am.

~ Mains Drinking/Washing Water (cold only no shower).
