Traditional style shoulder mount display shields for our red stag and feral goat shoulder mounts. These shields are for clients requiring a more traditional Scottish look to their sporting trophies rather than the trophy being mounted directly to the wall. These shields are manufactured by Northern Natural History from oak veneered MDF complemented with a dark oak stain and varnished finish. Price: £25 GBP - OUT OF STOCK... We also have available a hardwood shield of the same style manufactured in Great Britain and made from English ash. European style hand carved antler/horn mount display shields. A good alternative to our traditional British style shields. These shields are made from solid oak with a hand carved oak leaf theme finished with a simple black wood stain. Manufactured in the European Union and available exclusively in the UK from Northern Natural History. Please note that we do not retail these shields unless they are supplied with our own work.

 

 

 

 

Engraved plates. We currently have three styles of engraved name plates for adding to display plaques and shields.

1. Solid brass engraved name plates. Our most popular engraved name plate, in solid brass size 80mm x 30mm. Current price per plate engraved £9.50 GBP

2. Engraved 'shields' plate. A small metal plate 35mm x 40mm. This plate is usually only used for the smaller shields such as those for roe buck or possibly for some African horn mounts where shield space is limited.

3. A plastic/perspex plate in an ivory colour with black lettering inlay. The minimum order for this plate is TWENTY plates. Current price per plate engraved £9.50 GBP

Display plaques can be used for displaying under shoulder mounted sporting trophies. They come with one of our solid brass engraved name plates. Price £15.75 GBP inclusive of engraved name plate.

'Traditional British Trophy Shields' Northern Natural History manufactures and retails the following shields.

Red Stag (traditional long nose cut) approx 18.5" inches x 9.25" inches (47cm x 23.5cm) £18 GBP each. Also suitable for sika deer and feral goat - Currently out of stock.

Red Stag (this shield is suitable for trophies where the nose has been damaged or removed) approx 12.5" inches x 9" inches (32cm x 23cm) £12 GBP each - Currently out of stock.

Roe Buck approx 11" inches x 5.5" inches (28cm x 14 cm) £9 GBP each - Currently out of stock.

These shields are made from oak veneered MDF with a dark oak stain and varnished finish.

Please note that these shields are not the shields that our own antler mounts are set onto. The shields we use for our antler mounting are English ash hardwood shields manufactured in Great Britain.
