Northern Natural History
are specialists in bird and large game taxidermy. Our work in
the UK hunting season is predominately for British and visiting
sportsmen. Large game trophies are delivered to our Brora workshops
or collected by our 'Highland Trophy Collection Services', others
are delivered by courier from sportsmen throughout the
UK. We also prepare an increasing number of foreign trophies
for British sportsmen seeking sport abroad, in continents such
as Africa.
A Day in the Life of a Taxidermist
Our large game animal
models are second to none, manufactured by our talented staff
in Brora. Keeping to traditional British taxidermy mounts
and methods we now produce more large game animal trophies than
any other firm in Britain, our red stag mounts being particularly
sought after. Our range of African models are now manufactured
specifically for Northern Natural History trophies, in South
Africa.
We have a vast amount
of experience dealing with customs clearance procedures in various
countries, including Africa and the U.S.A. We ship regularly
to the U.S.A. and major European countries. Northern Natural
History deals direct with the major airlines for our 'large
consignment' exports to the U.S.A. and as such can offer the
most competitive rates available of any UK taxidermy firm.
Northern Natural History
are official trophy measurers for various top trophy measuring
systems and are members and supporters of the major worldwide
hunting and conservation organisations.
